Structural Project Engineer / Project Manager (Portland Office)

Froelich Engineers is seeking a structural project engineer/project manager for our Portland, Oregon office located in Portland/Tigard, near Bridgeport Village.

Position Entails:

Involvement in project from design to construction phase completion
Working closely with architects, team members, and contractors
Working as a project manager making independent engineering decisions
Responsible for managing and/or supervising; and coordination/reviewing the work of less experienced engineers

Personal Qualifications:

An attitude of ownership in your work, and client satisfaction in quality of work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
Positive and professional attitude
Self-motivated, outgoing individuals who excel when working alongside other team members and clients, and experience as a structural leader for projects
Candidates must exhibit a working knowledge in a variety of materials
Oregon P.E. license preferred (minimum of PE registration) with 4-12 years of experience in structural design
Knowledge of industry computer analysis and design software, such as RISA, RAM, and Revit

Civil Project Engineer (Portland Office)

Come grow with us! Froelich Engineers, Inc. is seeking a civil engineer to join our firm’s growing civil engineering department.

Position Entails:

Involvement in projects from design through construction completion
Working closely with architects, team members, and contractors
Preparing, compiling, and submitting drawing packages and reports
Supporting the civil department’s growth in preparing design standards and procedures

Personal Qualifications:

Is looking for an opportunity to advance their career by joining a small and growing civil department
Displays a positive and professional attitude with a high level of integrity and motivation
Has experience in site development and stormwater management design
Is capable of multi-tasking on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Cultivates client satisfaction in their work and is comfortable building relationships with clients
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
Is seeking a healthy work/life balance while working from our location near Bridgeport Village in Tigard/Durham area
Is driven, outgoing individual who excels when working alongside other team members and clients
