New year, new title! Several Froelich employees are starting 2019 in new roles, and we’re too proud of our team to keep it to ourselves. Below you’ll find their new positions as well as their background.

Chris Nelson, Senior Associate
Chris Nelson has been promoted to Senior Associate. Our lead engineer in Denver, Chris has done great work spreading the Froelich name in the Mountain States. A tinkerer from an early age, Chris worked in construction in high school and college and has applied his early field experiences in his career as a structural engineer. Chris has an intimate understanding of materials and can envision how a building will ultimately respond to forces once constructed. This keen sense gives Chris the ability to provide project outcomes that balance cost with constructability. A strong communicator, he is able to explain complex design issues in a clear, comprehensive way. Chris is known for his attention to detail, razor-sharp technical knowledge of building code, and an ability to apply code provisions to produce efficient designs.

Todd Nagele, Senior Associate
Todd Nagele has been promoted to Senior Associate. Todd has been an integral member of the leadership team for several years. He has a creative mind for engineering, and we can count on him even for toughest projects. A structural engineer for nearly 20 years, Todd has collaborated with architects, owners, and developers on a range of projects including large scale public works, multi-family housing, health care, and education facilities. Todd has a gift for both the technical and architectural aspects of every project, giving him the ability to create structural engineering solutions that honor the spirit of the design.

Evan Eykelbosch, Associate
Evan Eykelbosch has been promoted to Associate. Evan has done impeccable work establishing the Civil Engineering Department at Froelich. A civil engineer since 2005, Evan holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and spent his years after college working as an international volunteer with Engineering Ministries International. His portfolio includes multi-family, higher education, parks, and medical projects throughout the Portland metro area. At Froelich, he works on master planning, site development and grading, utility infrastructure, stormwater management, sustainable infrastructure, sanitary sewer systems, frontage improvements, water distribution, erosion control, and pavement plans.

Seth Davis, Associate
Seth Davis has been promoted to Associate. Seth is thoughtful, considerate, and kind. He has been a key player in business development, and he possesses a strong combination of technical expertise, communication, and project management skills. Seth has been the lead project engineer on numerous commercial projects as well as project manager for our Fortune 500 clients. His commitment to excellence in design and service to our clients has been outstanding. Seth began his career with Froelich Engineers in 2011.

Yashar Sarraf, Associate
Yashar Sarraf has been promoted to Associate. Yashar’s effusive personality and incredible sense of humor have made him a joy to work with over the past 12 years. He has been instrumental in networking and outreach, and he has a great mind for engineering. He holds a Bachelor’s in Structural Engineering from the Mohaghegh Ardebili University.

Carl Palmer, Associate
Carl Palmer has been promoted to Associate. An ultra-organized leader out of our Bend office, Carl has done impeccable work over the past 16 years. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Oregon. His specialties include wood, masonry, and steel construction of residential and commercial buildings.

Brandon Luzier, Project Manager
Brandon Luzier has been promoted to Project Manager. Not only is Brandon personable and good with clients, but he is always technically sound and incredibly hard working.

Patrick Pantano, Project Manager
Patrick Pantano has been promoted to Project Manager. Patrick is a great communicator, and we love his even-tempered, never-rattled disposition.
